1984年出⽣于福建。2006年毕业于福建师范⼤学美术学院油画专业。现⼯作⽣活于上海。
林枞的艺术实践关乎如何理性地在艺术史无形的律令中自由孵化意外。他的绘画材料游离于布面、反光材质、树脂或其他随机之物上，用一种松散的停滞混淆着视觉层面的完整主观性。艺术家操纵静态的画面以展现变化及过程；通过健忘来回忆起时间的绵延。脆弱的连贯性和符号学方面的幼稚不断被凸显，表现为内生性的，去类型化的“现在影像”。
Born in Fujian in 1984. Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of Fujian Normal University in 2006, majoring in oil painting. Currently working and living in Shanghai.
Lin Cong's artistic practice is about how to rationally and freely incubate accidents in the invisible laws of art history. His painting materials are free on canvas, reflective materials, resin or other random objects, confusing the complete subjectivity of the visual level with a loose stagnation. The artist manipulates static images to show changes and processes; recalling the continuity of time through forgetfulness. Fragile coherence and semiotic naivety are constantly highlighted, showing an endogenous, de-typified "present image".
